1998 eröffnet die holz & raum berlin gmbh den Verkaufs- und Beratungscenter DER RAUM.

1991
The company holz & raum berlin starts with the takeover and renovation of dilapidated parts of buildings and commercial space.


1995

The company manages the construction activities and carries out all interior work. Carpentry workshops, office space and social housing will be built on approximately 5500 square meters.

1996
Expansion of the company portfolio by the area of ​​furniture carpentry.

1997
Establishment of own modern training workshop to secure the increased quality requirements in the training area and to train qualified own specialists.

1998
Opening of the sales and consulting center DER RAUM in Berlin-Weißensee. We offer high-quality furniture and interior design, as well as customer service for complete individual interior design.

2001
DER RAUM moves to Uhlandstraße in Berlin-Charlottenburg.

2005
Start of the business division "Service". From now on also housekeeping & cleaning activities are offered.

2006
DER RAUM moves to Dunckerstraße in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg.

2010
The company receives the Berlin Pankow Training-Award for excellence in training, apprenticeship, good grades and commitment in the district.

2011
Expansion of production facilities with a modern paint shop for brilliant furniture surfaces.

2012
Introduction of new manufacturing processes using a state-of-the-art, five-axis CNC machine - customer requests can now be carried out even more individually and faster with the highest quality.

2014
Complete remodeling and refurbishment of DER RAUM.

  • A thriving factory in Berlin-Weißensee on approximately 8,000 square meters with workshops in which sustainable production and high-quality manufacturing methods are the focus
  • A total of more than 40 successful educational qualifications and excellent training conditions (as of: 12/2018)
  • 58 employees, including 10 trainees (as of: 12/2018)
